2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid at Keyes Toyota

2017 Camry Hybrid

We've noticed something at Keyes Toyota. The customers we serve from Los Angeles and Glendale, CA take the Toyota Camry for granted. After all, it's been around for nearly four decades, and isn't just the best-selling Toyota model. It's the best-selling car in America. We think the 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid also deserves its turn in the spotlight.

2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid Details

Coming off a major redesign in 2015, the looks of the 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid carry on much as before. There are three trim levels -- LE, SE, and XLE -- available. There's only one powertrain, but luckily it's a good one. At one end is an Electronically-Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT), while there's a hybrid drive system based on a 2.5 liter Atkinson Cycle four-cylinder engine. Net output is 200 horsepower.

New for 2017

There are only minor changes this year. There's a Blue Streak Metallic color option available on the SE trim. The Entune Audio Plus infotainment system is upgraded and now includes a new navigation suite and Qi wireless charging.

2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid Safety and Special Features

The 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid earns an NHTSA five-star safety rating. The traditional Toyota Camry has an IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus when equipped with optional active safety features.* However, the hybrid version hasn't been rated by the IIHS.

We suggest upgrading the Entune™ infotainment system to take full advantage of a higher-resolution touchscreen, audio file CODECs, navigation, USB ports, Bluetooth support, a 3-month complimentary SiriusXM All Access trial**, voice recognition, and more.

Buying a 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid

When most people think of new Toyota hybrids, they think of the Toyota Prius. However, the company's knack for developing good hybrid powertrains has seen them employed across more of the lineup, including not only the 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid, but also Toyota Avalon Hybrid, Toyota Highlander Hybrid and popular Toyota RAV4 Hybrid variants.

You can see all of them -- alongside traditional gas-powered Toyota models -- at your Toyota dealership near Los Angeles. Keyes Toyota is located at 5855 Van Nuys Blvd in Van Nuys, CA.
