Keyes Toyota Welcomes the 2018 Toyota C-HR

For as many new Toyota SUVs as we welcome to Keyes Toyota every year, it’s not often that we get to welcome a model that’s truly completely new. But that’s where we find ourselves with the 2018 Toyota C-HR. We like what we’ve seen so far, and we think that our customers in the Los Angeles area will too.

2018 Toyota C-HR Details

The 2018 Toyota C-HR won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. It’s not meant to blend into the background. Its bold looks will appeal to drivers who want a crossover with a sense of style as distinctive as their own.

Since there are only two trim levels (XLE and XLE Premium), finding a well-equipped Toyota C-HR is a breeze. Even though the powertrain isn’t as robust as what you’d find in a Toyota 86, it’s still plenty capable.

The small footprint and low stance gives you the handling of a car. The creative cabin layout, combined with a just-right ride height, gives you the best of a crossover. For drivers spending most of their time in the city, it’s a more practical choice than a larger Toyota SUV or pickup… and much easier to park, to boot!

2018 Toyota C-HR Safety and Special Features

The Toyota STAR safety system comes standard on both trims, but the big news is the inclusion of Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P) as standard equipment. With features like Full-Speed Dynamic Cruise Control, lane departure with steering assist, and pedestrian detection, you and your passengers will feel safe and secure.

Both trims share the same instrument panel, head unit, and infotainment system. Along with the identical power trains on both, you might wonder what sets the trims apart. Opting for XLE Premium gives you additional active safety features (like blind spot monitoring), a Smart Key system with pushbutton start, and heated front seats.
