2017 Toyota Prius c: Fun and Efficiency. And Fun.

2017 prius

Most Los Angeles and Glendale, CA customers served by Keyes Toyota have a very clear picture of what they expect from a Toyota Prius. The 2017 Toyota Prius c takes those preconceptions and throws them out the window. A long way from the polarizing early designs of Toyota hybrids, the Toyota Prius c has all the strengths you’d expect, but it looks — and drives — fun.

2017 Toyota Prius c Details

The 2017 Toyota Prius c comes in four trim levels, sensibly named One, Two, Three, and Four. Each shares the same powertrain and performance figures (see sidebar). The Toyota Prius c combines the practicality of a hatchback with a small form factor and its hybrid drive system to make it the ideal city car. As much as we love the Toyota Land Cruiser, we’d rather not have to parallel park it in downtown Los Angeles! While even the base One trim is respectably equipped, the best bits and bobs are reserved for the Three and (especially) Four trims. The latter is where you’ll find amenities like a Sof-Tex trimmed steering wheel, SmartKey system, 60/40 split rear seats, and heated front seats as standard equipment.

2017 Toyota Prius c Safety and Special Features

The safety features on the 2017 Toyota Prius c prove that innovation doesn’t stop with the car’s hybrid drive train. All trims come standard with the Toyota STAR safety system and the TSS-C active safety system for added peace of mind. Should a flat or other issue happen in the middle of nowhere, standard ToyotaCare also comes in handy.

The fun looks and drive carry over for the rest of your passengers thanks to Toyota Entune infotainment. Each trim level has its own version of this system. Here again, the upper trims have the best features. The Four comes with an integrated backup camera, and Entune Premium Audio with Entune Premium App Suite are limited to the Three and Four trims.
