Power and Performance
The 2027 Toyota Tundra gives you two twin-turbo V6 powertrain options. The i-FORCE® V6 produces up to 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, while the available i-FORCE MAX® hybrid pairs the V6 with an electric motor for 437 combined horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. Both use a 10-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with TOW/HAUL driving modes to manage that output.
That power translates directly to capability. When properly equipped, this new Toyota truck can tow up to 12,000 lbs, giving you the capacity to handle substantial trailers, recreational equipment, and other heavy loads.
Truck Bed
The 2027 Toyota Tundra uses a Sheet-Molded Compound composite bed designed to resist dents, impacts, dings, and rust. The current design offers 5.5-foot, 6.5-foot, and 8.1-foot bed lengths, giving you options for balancing cargo room with cab and wheelbase preferences. The tailgate can also be opened using a switch beside the driver-side taillight, making it easier to access the bed when your hands are occupied with equipment or supplies.
Technology Features
One of the biggest 2027 updates is directly in front of you. Every 2027 Toyota Tundra now receives a standard 14-inch touchscreen running the latest generation of Toyota Audio Multimedia®. The system adds AT&T 5G connectivity, a customizable home screen with widgets, and an updated Voice Assistant designed to respond more quickly to “Hey Toyota” commands.
A built-in Drive Recorder Dash Cam is also standard. When enabled, it can use the exterior cameras to record 20-second clips during manually selected or triggered events.
Safety Package
Toyota Safety Sense™ 4.0 is standard for 2027, bringing updated sensing hardware and detection capabilities to the Toyota Tundra. The suite includes:
